For Ruthie Davis, shoe obsession started at the tender age of two when she tried on her first pair of red patent leather Mary Janes. Ruthie fell so fast and hard in love with the shoes that when the salesman went to take them off, he was confronted with the fierce glare of a baby fashionista. Little Ruthie wore the shoes out of the store and according to her mother, insisted on wearing them to bed that night.

Ruthie's love-affair with shoes has, over time, transformed into an uncompromising obsession with producing some of the most provocative footwear in the world. In 2006, Davis introduced her own brand of handcrafted Italian-made shoes. The collection is a high-style/high tech merging of the designer's personal style - referencing architecture, modernism, and future technology with a lifelong love for 1960s Italian cinema and the larger than life heroines of childhood comic books. Her shoes are innovative in form, function and materials and always radiate a sexy elegance.

At the core of Ruthie's design philosophy lies the concept of integration. She herself is more than just a designer; she has an MBA. She oversees every aspect of her company, from design to production to marketing to PR. In essence, Ruthie IS her brand. This allows her to execute her ideas without interference, and the result is a purity of product that is rare in today's marketplace.

Now for the beautiful shoes!!!:::

Okay so stars like Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys, Solange Knowles, Kin Kardashian, Katy Perry, and even young Jojo are hounding this lady like craaaaazzzy to get at Ruthie Davis' shoes! But check this Queen Bey is her biggest fan. Last Saturday Ruthie Davis went to see Beyonce on tour and brought her a pair as a surprise... Beyonce loved them so much she wore them out that night!

These are just a few of the times Queen Bey has been spottd wearing Ruthie Davis originals! And we all know if the Queens on board its only a matter of time before the entire world jumps on the bandwagon. You can thank us for the head start later... GO!

So Valentino isn't hitting it for me this time. It's just a little too dark and shiny for my taste. Luckily, this is about what floats YOUR boat. So what do you think???

AGAIN!!! Will someone buy me an eeFFin plane ticket please??? This 60's inspired line is off the chains! (HA! you like how i tried to bring that back huh?) The neutral colors used in the line create a sophostication while still managing to be young and fresh. Check: If you can't afford the plane ticket at least buy me homegirl's grey tights. Tao Okamoto often plays with tights but never in a line has he been so consistent. 34 of the 69 girls in the look book are wearing these same tights and they are frigging ill. So yeah before i start rambling, just buy me some already. P.S. Homegirl's banged haircut will soon be mine!

Okay so I love them! Their color choices are AWESOME! Two Questions: Why is all the good fashion everywhere but America? and Who's going to be kind enough to buy me a plane ticket??

"While the fashion world baits its breath and waits for Phoebe Philo's June '09 debut for Celine, the label turned to its team of designers for a fall '09 collection which definitely proved that things are on the up 'n up at Celine. There's a vintage vibe at work in trapeze coats with big gold buttons, Crayola colored caplets, and boxy tweed jackets—not to mention we're kind of loving their luxe leather beret/newsboy cap hybrid. Do we detect an element of Bonnie and Clyde in the mix? For a house that had as little identity pre-Philo as Celine, this moment in time couldn't be bigger for them. Let the countdown begin, and 'til then, we'll hold all our marbles in that big, slouchy, gray suede tasseled bag..."

Melody Eh$ani was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She originally had plans to attend Law School after college but her heart pulled her in a very different direction. Melody once wrote, "I was internally drawn to…design." If Melody were asked why she designs she might say, "I want the women who wear my shoes to have the same opportunity for equality, wholeness, and self-expression. My style is inspired by paradox, controversy, justice and pushing the envelope in showing that you truly can’t judge a book by its cover. I design to upset the equilibrium. I design to inspire. I design to serve. I design because I was created to do so." We at Juicy's World love, love, lovez her! Here is a little sneak peak! ------------->

In addition to shoes Melody also designs jewelry. You may have notice Keri Hilson's "On" and "Off" rings in her video Turnin' me On... that's right! your brain is on the right track! They were designed by Melody Eh$ani. check her out at http://melodyeh$ani.com/ and http://melodysblog.tumblr.com/!
